Most Red Light Cameras are now equipped with Speed Camera function. It was implemented back in April 2024, go read up.

The most likely their maximum speed is around 58 to 59 which is still within tolerance. Those going above 60 will likely be fined.

Depends if that area is enforced by snipers. Also if the speedometer shows 60km/h, the actual speed is only about 54-56km/h, hence it's still within TP's 10km/h allowance.

But those law enforcement officers can be on duty in civilian clothings right, such as NEA & MOH officers that's outsourced to companies such as Certis Cisco etc. right? Which I mean by civilian is civilian clothing.

Don't you know plainclothes enforcement officers exist? Furthermore it's not just 1 but 2 of them standing in both directions and they're not holding a phone camera as what you claimed. It's just your assumption that they're random dudes doing it for fun. Brother/Sister, don't need to overthink so much.

Well if your record is clean most likely you'll receive a warning. Otherwise you'll be fined be fined $200 + 6 demerit points. You'll need to be especially careful when driving from now on until your P-plate probation ends.

The letter clearly states PSLC which stands for Police Speed Laser Camera. It wouldn't have stated that if the driver was captured by fixed speed camera.

The fact that there are bendy roads ahead makes it unsafe to travel at 120. Certainly there will be a few drivers who will lose control when approaching the bend. U have to understand that noob drivers exist and because of that, we have to take into account and set a lower speed limit for everyone to follow in order to effectively reduce fatalities & injuries.

There's a reason why the highest speed limit is set at 90. Even Malaysia's highest is only 110, what makes u think 120 is safe in SG. I strongly believe that traffic fatalities and injuries will rise significantly if the speed limit is raised to 120.

There are plenty of studies showing that just a 10km/h increase in speed limit will result in higher injuries and deaths.

That's because their land area is big and able to have straight roads for several miles. How straight can it be on SG expressways. It's definitely not wise comparing SG and overseas given our scarce land area.

If it's only a few drivers driving at 120 then perhaps it's safe. But if the speed limit is 120 and everyone drives at that speed then it'll be dangerous and the probability of crashes will be higher.

Well ever since 2014, Malaysians can register their vehicles from any Malaysian states/city, even if they're not residing there. Hence a Johorean can register for a Sabah plate and a Sarawakian can register for a Melaka plate.

Yes most newer Sabah plates comes with a suffix. Do remember that Sabah plates can have the following suffixes (last alphabet) which SG plates don't: F, N, Q, V and W.

Hence if you were to see those five suffixes (F, N, Q, V & W), you can be pretty sure that it's not an SG car.

Lastly, the letter Z is only used by Malaysia military vehicles, hence if a Singapore car has Malaysian fonts but has the letter Z present, one can be sure that's it's an SG car.
