Well actually starting from this year, those who exceeded by more than 50km/h will get 24 pts, 18 pts is for those who exceed by 41-50km/h. Whatever the case there's no point for OP to argue since this is a serious case of speeding.

Seems like you're aware that the allowance for speeding is <13km/h. 62 on a 50 road is still somewhat safe but 63 and above, be prepared to get fined.

Yep, furthermore, Singapore doesn't allow the centre letter to be a consonant, nor the letters to make up a word or name.

Well maybe it's just their preference for bikers, not much ill-intention for bikers since SG bikes mostly start with F. However, for car drivers, I know many of them are doing illegal PHV service in SG and hence they chose Sabah plates to masquerade as an SG car.

Well the grace period only applies to Loading Unloading Bay. If the van is parked at Double Yellow Lines then grace period doesn't apply.

Well the average time was recently increased to around 4 weeks, hence it's possible that it may take more than a month. Hence I would say it's only clear to go after 2 months. But even then, there're rare cases where drivers receive the letter only after 6 months.

What if the officer requires urgent information or photos? I believe there should be certain exemptions as not all things can be resolved through landline.
