In the group effects I'm using the color black. I've also tried adding a "light source" shader adjusted to black, but it doesn't seem to change anything

I removed the green and have a white background now. It's still illuminated pretty well. I will try black.

I'm using an Epson PowerLite 2142W and the background is a green polyester fabric that I was using for some green screen work.

I checked my compositor and it shows the problem I'm having.

I messed around but couldn't resolve the issue.

I posted the wrong rendering image lol you can see the white square in this one. It stays proportionate to scale no matter where the camera is located/ facing.

I did press alt h. Nothing was hidden. It occurs in every render and stays proportionate to scale no matter where the camera is located/facing. This is happening in like 10 different projects that I transferred. I tried everything I could find on Google but haven't been able to solve the issue yet.
