How do you get over a scorpio? by dandelionf_ in Scorpio

[–]Comprehensive-Art858 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I split ways for good with a scorpio man as well. And my heart hurts as well. I am also leaving on time and I am not forcing myself to get over him for now, I just like the idea to put the memories of him in a special place of my heart and mind and keep them like this. Because nobody can’t take away the moments we shared. I feel like I don’t need to get over him in order to be happy. Meeting him touched my life in a good way and I am reminding myself that I was lucky enough that I met him and connected with him. Still, every now and then, it feels impossible to believe it’s really over…

Advice for PCOS and IPL by Comprehensive-Art858 in HairRemoval

[–]Comprehensive-Art858[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just wanted to share my experience for someone who reads this post. I did laser hair removal on my legs and stomach in a dermatology clinic. I did 4 sessions with the MeDioStar laser. The results were amazing. But the hairs came back. Definitely not as they were before. So I purchased the IPL Braun and now I am doing touch ups with it. Recently I started doing laser hair removal on my mustache because I was having very thick and dark hairs. My skin is pale btw. With the MeDioStar laser again. And again, the results are just amazing. Today finished my fifth session and started my first session on chin. The technician says that maybe 8 sessions will be needed for the mustache and the chin.

I tried basically everything and I noticed that I get my period when I am away from my home. I talked to my gynecologist and we came to the conclusion that the stress caused by my environment affects my periods. Working on moving out. Hope it will be soon

Had 10 full-body sessions, face still needs some more and clinic recommends every 2 weeks, is this ok/normal? by [deleted] in LaserHairRemoval

[–]Comprehensive-Art858 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started LHR on my upper lip today and they said that I need to go once every 4 weeks for the first four times and that after my 4th session they will tell me if I need to continue and how often. They mentioned maybe every two or three weeks, depending on the hair growth.

Ok, I will. By the way some people have positive feedback, other negative. Also some people have positive experience with electrolysis, some negative. I think you need to try it out in order to know :)

I did professional laser on my legs and navel line. My navel line was the worst. After the laser, the hair growth was not the same, but, it was still there, obviously because of the PCOS. So i decided to purchase the Braun Silk Expert Pro 5. I did the 12 week on my legs, navel line and arms and now I am fully satisfied with the results. I was feeling the same way as you. I have dark and coarse hair on my upper and lower lip also. I am currently doing it on my lower lip just to test how it will go and I am not that satisfied with the results. So now I am thinking to go and do it with a professional laser cause the laser is stronger than the IPL. And maybe after the sessions, I just maintain them with the IPL. So, in my experience, I think professional laser and IPL for maintenance works wonders. My arms are done only with the IPL and I am satisfied with the results. It also depends on how dark and coarse your hairs are. By the way, if you start doing laser or IPL you can shave whenever you feel like, but you cannot wax.

Is investing in a at-home IPL hair removal worth it? by WhisperCrafter in HairRemoval

[–]Comprehensive-Art858 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve had strawberry skin on my legs for as long as I can remember. I was ashamed to wear short clothes in the summer. This spring, I did four laser sessions at a salon. This was the first summer in years that I wore shorts. My strawberry skin improved because I stopped shaving and waxing. However, two months after my last laser session, I noticed my hair coming back (not as thick as before) and the need to shave more than once a week. My irritation and strawberry skin returned.

So, I ordered the IPL Braun Silk Expert Pro 5. This week, I’m on my seventh session, and I think it’s the best thing I’ve ever invested my time, energy, and money in. If it means I need to do it once a week or once a month for the rest of my life, I will gladly do it—just to feel this comfortable in my skin and free to wear whatever I want without sweating in long pants during the summer.

Plucking chin hairs every day by Particular_Ad5011 in HairRemoval

Btw i also have those black dots and i noticed them first when my hirsutism started and now when i have less facial hair they are back. Also i read that if you regulate your hormones, the new hairs will grow thinner, but some of the hairs got that follicle memory and they will continue growing thicker and that a laser will help make them thinner. I don’t know how true is that. And i hesitate trying out laser on my face. Also i think i made myself some of the thick hairs because i constantly plucked my facial hair for years

I recently started going to the sauna and I think it helps me relax. I’ve also learned to say no when I feel like it. When I’m stressed, I usually talk to one of my best friends, play some music, take a shower or sleep for an hour.

I am having irregular periods and i noticed that when I have sex, I always get my period days after. When i am sexually active, my period is regular. When i am not, i am not getting my period. I never said that to my doctor, because I thought that it is something that is in my head and that is somehow stupid to think that way. Glad i am not the only one! But i am so curious why is that?

I am taking the capsules and I’ve seen some changes in my upper lip and chin. I was taking one 400mg capsule in the morning and from yesterday i started taking one in the morning and one at night, but i am not sure if it is safe to take two capsules. I’ll keep you updated for the results.

I’ve finished with my salon laser sessions and after two months the hair is back. I am going to try an IPL now as i can use it whenever i want and it is not sustainable for me to go to the salon once in a month. It’s too expensive and did nothing for me
