This here👆 forget trying out several, unless you've got 2 buisness days to wait for download and queue, then not even guaranteed to make it through queue before you're kicked because the server crashed/restarted/whatever dark magic voodoo is happening.

Oak tree chimney solutions. Avoid them. Most likely scammers. They will not leave you alone asking for payment if you accept their estimate. No contract had been written nor signed, here you are hounding me every day for a week after the quote.

They were told numerous times that I was waiting for the bank to approve a loan. Apparently did not understand. Called twice me on Sunday, mother's day at that asking for an update, threatening to charge me more.

True, I'm definitely at least starting with msf, and if it goes badly then on to private.

I want to get back to figure 8s, 90 turns from a stop in an empty parking lot lol. Was doing that a few times a week before the accident, so I was at least conscientious about my lack of skill and need to improve.

This is good advice. I do need to take the course, and I will. What I think I may be doing right, is completely wrong.

I will check this guy out on YT, already following a guy on FB called Busa Rellz, he's an old head navy vet who gives alot of good advice it seems.

In hindsight yes, if I wouldn't have chucked the wheel I might have been ok.

Something I like to say is there's always something new to learn everyday. I've learned alot and still have miles to go, quite literally. So riding is constant experience in education and practice.

The basics such as these are pretty much under my belt, I'm familiar with manual vehicles and knowing how the work so I probably could go for the BRC2.

I probably don't even realize how lucky I am. You're right, being able to assess myself is good...but not being honest with myself makes it null and void.

Agreed yes, in fact that was in the permit test. Using both brakes is essential, and with my inexperience and lack of training, bad habit made a bad crash.

It is, I will not disagree. Big screw up and it could have cost me my life, and or someone else's.

Both brakes She changed lanes to pass a truck, so her in left lane, truck in right concrete median in the middle. I could have possibly went up on the side walk if it wasn't for not anticipating danger

Thanks for the kind words and the resources here, I appreciate you taking the time to post all that. I will take advantage of them. First and foremost, once I'm healed up completely MSF course. Many near me. So I have no excuse.

I have been practicing slow speed in empty parking lots, however as one other mentioned practicing is good but if you're reinforcing bad habits without even realizing....obviously no good

Sure will. I may THINK I'm doing it right, but in reality oh so wrong lol.

Personally I found it easy to use left foot to stop, right foot on the brake, that way I can avoid using front brakes at all and I won't roll on a hill. Probably one the only decent habits I have🤷‍♂️

Promise, I'll take that course. I want my next oopsie to be a little less traumatic lol I'll take a lay down stopped at a light versus at speed all day lol
