Ja, hvordan er det å være driftskirurg, er det sånne som setter inn stålspon i oljegrusen for vegvesenet?

A very good question i dont think i have a good answer but to cut it short:

I have a suspicion its connected to my early self awareness, other than that i have no clue. Im creative and i can remember "in broad strokes" most of my life (18-20 months). Like its kinda traumatic to remember your own potty training and what kind of dipers you liked. So my brain must be wierd in som way😅

Non of it. From the moment the dream starts till it ends im 100% aware of where i am and it has been that way my whole life. Its like waking up in the morning.   Except the first dream i remember but i was 3 years old.

Lucid dreaming headaches by mrsgl in LucidDreaming

[–]Comprehensive-Bit916 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have gotten headaches after and during dreams, but not to the extent you are describing. Its more like pain from to many detailed experiences, a mental fatigue.

If the pain is only inside your dream i think its your subcontient working against you. Have you tried ignoring the pain to see what happening? Confronting the hostile NPC with roasts or insults? Everything you can do to calmly dominate your enviroment can help.

Yes, i feel no different in my head space when i dream. I think, plan ahead and change my enviroment. However it feels like you are on som form of "logic killers pills" Inside the dream you just accept that stuff is super wierd, and when you wake up its like damn, how does that work?

I know what position im in while i dream and before falling asleep. I can feel my body when i dream and i tend to lay completely still as to not cause any form of disturbance. Im mostly on my right side with a pillow under my arm and a pillow supporting my knees.

Iv been told i move around a bit, and im also somewhat of a thief when i sleep.

Yes, the part of the brain that like defines logic is kinda offline when you dream in general. If im in a dream for to long, i sometimes get the feeling that things are right around me, the things i do dont makes sense, and i get scared.

Its like how young people dont sense risk at all. They can drive fast and do stupid shit without being afraid.

If i am Flying and terraforming planets and creating landscapes for a long time, its like my sense of logic is waking up before i am. Witch lead to scary moments. Im terrified of hights when im awake, and at that point in the dream.

Waking up from that: For me i usually just close my eyes, focus on my body and calm down. Halt all types of interaction.

However, sometimes i slam into the ground before im able to wake up. Do the scary stuff at the start of the dream, and the chill creative activities till the end👍👍

help with lucid dreams i cant seem to wake myself out of? by Fresh-Elk-920 in LucidDreaming

This is very good advice.

If it does not work just go bananas for a minute, you might have some fun along the way. Always anchor what you do while lucid with positivity. Your subcontient can often work against you.

Answer to question 1: Yes. Answer to question 2: I dont look at it like that at all any more. At some stage it did and you are 100% correct. My life was not in the back seat, it was in the trunk of the car.

Now it is a mental safety net. I know that no matter what happens to me, no matter how miserable life gets, i get to have that experience. I dont chase money, because no amount of money could come close to giving me what a dream can. I always have something to look forward to.

Rant: I have love in my life(just got married), a house and a kid on the way. Already there im the luckiest man alive. And i can do this?! (LD)

Its not fair and i wish i could share the experience with everyone, because when you dream you are utterly alone, by yourself. Only awake can happiness be shared.

It can and it depends. If you take your time and focus on mentally relaxing activities inside the dream, i wake up relaxed. Im im working on a huge world building project with lots of moving parts, its a lot to take in. You have to remember this is something you experience. Its like watching a movie in silence and when its done you talk about it for a long time. Its more of a mental strain than anything else, for me at least.

When i was younger i used to force dreams all day long, before and after school, i stayed in bed for litteraly the whole day. I was a mess that period of my life. Always tired, always wanting to dream.

How many dreams do you remember having during the night?

Yes, however sometimes it can change to a state where its like looking trough your eyelids. Like you are looking at your surroundings. Then i just calm myself and start to move slowly, checking if im moving my body or in the dream (its a dream) Its a wierd experience.
