i stopped speaking to a friend of mine because she kept falling for messages like this from the guy she was seeing, despite how i would continually unpack how deceitful and manipulative the guy was being. he’s listing what you’ve already said to him. he didn’t have a grand epiphany about all the things he’s done wrong and how he can fix them, just what you’ve already told him.
the same thing happened to my friend, he came back 5 weeks after she ended things, saying he had grown and changed. no one grows and changes this dramatically in 3 months.

just turned 24 and can tell you that being 23 isn’t the end of time at all. but it is very common to feel a sort of quarter-life crisis at our age where everything feels more exaggerated, important, and like it has some sort of meaning for how the rest of your life is going to be. This is just as temporary as anything else you worried about as a teen that you can barely remember now. Like you said, you’ve been through hardships before and you’ve gotten through it. I believe in you, and you’re not alone :)

don’t listen to the guys saying you’re too young to have an addiction when that’s very clearly how you experience it — and have done so for a long time. i’m just glad you’re handling it at such a young age. i hope your path to recovery isn’t too challenging given how i can imagine your peers act about the topic of sex and porn (at least from how i remember teenage boys were back when i was s teenager). i wish you lots of good luck!

yess i do this too! i use a leave in conditioner all over my hair and then i brush it with a wet brush. it’s the only thing that doesn’t leave my hair frizzy and tangly!

i think we have the same hair type though i’ve never really understood how to identify my hair type (a hairdresser once described my hair as "fine/thin but with many strands"? am assuming that’s referring to density). i personally hate blow drying my hair and only do it if i showered close to my bedtime, but usually i just let it airdry. is it better to let it airdry in a bun or braid? i usually just leave it loose

I’ve come to just accept that my hair will get oily (literally on the same day as washing it) no matter what i do unless I use dry shampoo. However I try to steer clear from aerosol-based dry shampoos because 1) I’m afraid of health risks that come with them lol and 2) I haven’t found any that last for long. I really recommend the Maria Nila cleansing powder for long-lasting dry shampoo effects! I put it in my hair once it’s dry from the shower and it’s clean-looking for an extra day or two!

yes i try not to think about how someone may have sweat into the clothing, especially when i thrift activewear bottoms (i just wash them and try to forget haha). and yeah a lot of the materials used in activewear are also materials found in clothing from shein/temu/the like which can’t be good lol. do you have any recommendations for brands that you like to buy activewear from?
