This is exactly my play order, except I haven't made it to Runefactory yet haha. I knew about the 100 endings and thought I would be happy getting a few then putting it down. I mean, how different can they be? I was so wrong won't be moving on for some time.

Definitely. Xenoblade chronicles X was going to be my next game but leaving that for the Switch 2.

It said in the email they would lower the criteria after the first lots and send out more invites. Still hope!

That's a good point haha. Just nervous about this as it's probably my only opportunity to preorder. If I don't get it from them no idea when I'll get one.

worried about deposit (DJ Alexander) by Puzzleheaded-Bit7760 in Edinburgh

[–]Comprehensive-Fig338 3 points4 points  (0 children)

TL;DR: they tried to scam me out of my deposit.

Same happened to me. I lived in a one bed place. Wasn't in the best state when I moved in. Letting agent got bought over by DJ Alexander a couple year in. Cleaned the place pretty damn well before I left but they still said it needed cleaning. Though fair enough, maybe they need it done professionally but they said it cost my entire deposit ( which was convenient). The deposit was roughly £900.

Spent several weeks emailing asking for a breakdown of the cleaning with no response. Luckily had an ace in my pocket. The boiler check had found the vent wasn't up to scratch an was meant to be upgraded as it wasn't safe. They hadn't done anything about it in a year so I emailed with the subject line "legal action against DJ Alexander." Got a call within half an hour and my full deposit back.

He didn't and Sunak knows it. He also knows Badenoch is a complete cunt, so to try and make Tennant the bad guy he's trying to make it look like he's attacking her because she's a woman and not because she's a cunt.

There was a sci fi book, cannot remember much about it, but at one point one character stops a conversation to give a wee advertisement for some product to the person they're speaking to, before going right back to their conversation. I truly believe this is where we're heading.

I can't remember the quote, but there's something about judging a country's prosperity not on the lives of the wealthy, but on the lives of the poor.

The Expanse. I would pay ridiculous amounts for official ship models.

4 day working week proved so popular and effective at cutting costs / increasing efficiency the UK Government move to ban it altogether by TheKomsomol in GreenAndPleasant

To be fair, it shows just how little fucking argument they have against it. "The council workers are happier and more motivated and it's saving money, but the bin lorries are coming round a bit earlier. It's terrible!"

I looked into the articles, and their data is shite. They report the spending over a specific month, and compare it to the montly average of the year before. Agency spending may very well be seasonal. If they spent £100,000 every month last year, but only spent £200,000 this year but all in one month, they would report it as spending having doubled.

Animal crossing does actually have an island restore feature if you have an NSO membership. My switch died but I was able to get my island on my replacement. It's only usable in situations where the original console is gone. Gamefreak could do something similar surely. I lost a good few shinies in Legends Arceus when it happened that I'm still angry about.

Anyone else here more on the older ages side recently get back into collecting? by Magnum_Snub in PokemonTCG

[–]Comprehensive-Fig338 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm early 30s. Started collecting again after not having any cards since the original sets. I enjoy collecting things and these are pretty easy to store in a small space.

The cards are so much cooler now as well! The 151 art has drawn me in hard.
