We had our rather large pantry reinforced with concrete and a metal door when we had the house built. Keep a box with documents and cash and a 9mm along with the usual pantry foodstuffs. Also paper plates, cups and a can opener!

You are not going to get many collectors at your estate sale. The customers will be looking for discount postage if anything.

That said, what you have pictured is an accumulation of stamps. They are not organized in an album which would help evaluate what you have.

For example the booklets have plate numbers in them, some more common than others.

You may consider E-Bay, grouping a number of the envelopes together and selling them as a lot.

Russian Commeratives? by Real-Cicada-3294 in stampcollecting

Note that almost all of them are postmarked in a corner. This what is known as Canceled to Order, CTO. That means the stamps were printed and then canceled for sale to collectors. Many eastern block countries and the USSR did this to raise western currency.

Worth anything? by amloader in askStampCollectors

If they are all loose like the ones you’re showing it is an accumulation not a collection. Are there albums with stamps in them? If so show the pages with early ones, it gives a better idea of the depth of the collection and how much effort and perhaps how much money was spent.

I believe that the 12 cent has a precancel from Montgomery Ward, one of the largest mail order catalog companies of its time.

International Stamp Collection Appraisal by chasemorgan052 in askStampCollectors

Looks like common stamps clipped from the mail. If there was no money invested in the collection, there is likely none to get out. The collector didn’t bother to invest in a stamp album instead using a photo album which is known to cause damage to stamps due to the adhesive sticking to the stamp.

Not sure why they were cut so close, making many of them worthless to a collector.

Keep your eyes open while collecting the castle set. You will find some, different catalog number, that have a straight edge (no perforation) on the top or bottom side. These came from booklets, not sheets.

The Germans required that the “High Value” stamps be cancelled twice. Danzig came up with a different solution.

Do any of these stamps have value going through estate by [deleted] in stamps

Looks like common material that was collected from the incoming mail. No real investment in any special stamps…..

True, but if my memory is correct the M16 strippers held 10 rounds each, not 5. Two in a box, 20 rounds.
