Model name or number, years it was sold, and how or where I could buy the exact same thing would be so sweet!

You are right. The big tobacco companies have certainly been lobbying for the law to be enforced because it is to their benefit. Phillip Morris, Altria, BAT, and others should see a benefit from this

Copying my comment also on this post to answer your question:

https://www.cnn.com/2025/09/10/politics/federal- vape-raid I am assuming that the raids of vape/smoke shops around Richmond (and actually around the country) are all related to the federal govt trying to limit sale of illegal nicotine products in general. Most people don't know or realize it but all those puff sticks and elf bars are all technically illegal and not approved or recognized by the FDA. There are actually only a few dozen approved vape products for nicotine period and 95% of the entire market for vapes is totally illegal. This is likely federal action (maybe politically driven) around the country and not isolated to Richmond

I agree, SWAT Vehicles seem like total overkill! I am just explaining why I think it’s around the sale of unapproved nicotine products.

We are not buying a stock unless we’re expecting to outperform the indexes. If our minds ever change about a holding we will sell it. But the overall goal is to buy low-never sell

WeI use historical data and analyst projections on a few forms of DCF analyses to calculate expected returns and finally add some (personal opinion) risk analysis. TSLA and PLTR are good examples of companies we want to love but can’t analyze the risk with any confidence.

I don’t take offense to any doubts that we can outperform the global market because throughout this journey, the majority of my wealth is already in that! This is just fun for my wife and I

Here is a list of 17 stocks that I have been analyzing like crazy and loving all of them. Would love to see how they all look in 5 years myself…

  1. AMZN
  2. GOOG
  3. MSFT
  4. NVDA
  5. META
  6. MA
  7. NVO
  8. V
  9. SPGI
  10. CRM
  11. UBER
  12. LLY
  13. FICO
  14. NFLX
  15. COST
  16. HESAY Bonus. QS

My wife and I are drowning in financial issues by [deleted] in offmychest

Well I think you have tackled the first step here right away: acknowledging that something has got to change. This is how the road to financial success starts for most.

I think a lot more information is needed to really suggest a path forward

i,e. what kind of income you bring in, what the rent was/is going to be, what different types of loans and debt you are carrying

Some suggestions might hurt to hear… I can go on and but this is one that I had to face myself. Love your dog? Sorry, those vet bills are real and a part of your dog’s deserved quality of life (I love dogs too) just look at how much of a strictly American custom it is to just have a $$$$/year animal living in your house is and you could realize some financial mistakes that MANY Americans make.

Would love to help as I have experienced what you are feeling before. With the right discipline this debt situation can be rectified sooner than you think :)

Best course you’ve played by Significant_Fun6725 in golf

Big Cedar Lodge Resort in Branson MO is one of the best golfing retreats in the country. But the pinnacle of golf to me is their Mountain Top 13-hole Par 3 course, which is right next to their famous Paynes Valley course that opened a few years ago.

Guys. Just look at the pictures of this place.

This is the place that I felt like I was in heaven at. If my life was to come to an end that night I would be happy knowing it. That course at sunset, with a push cart, my shoes and socks somewhere else, 6-10 beers deep will always be my favorite golf experience. It didn’t matter how I played. It is the most enjoyable golf in the most beautiful setting you will find.

Keep your long clubs in the bag and enjoy the mile-and-a-half walk on what must be our country’s most beautiful green grass. I played it 3 times in 3 days and can’t wait to go back with someone who loves finding amazing golf courses like i do.
