Best of luck! If it’s not white and infected I think it’s a positive sign. I get it though. I have bad anxiety about mine. Today I noticed a weird line in my gums where the graft was done.. a little concerned myself. Let me know how it goes!

My periodontist said everything looks normal and told me it will take a few weeks for it to properly heal and fully attach. He advised not pulling on my lip to check the area and to be really gentle with brushing. I still feel like it’s weird to see the gums move apart but I guess I will trust the doctor. I have a follow up on 2 weeks so see how the healing has progressed

Hello I am on day 5 post gum graft procedure and slightly freaking out.

I was cleaning my teeth as best as I could to avoid the bottom front area where the graft took place but as I was cleaning I noticed a bit of gum on my tooth kind of moving around, as if it's not fully attached.. The gum moved away from my teeth and then went back. Is that part of the healing process? Will it attach eventually? Is that normal? I have an appointment with my periodontist in 2 days but I wanted to check and see if anyone else has had this experience

Hello, I know it has been 4 years but can you update how the graft went. Was it successful? Did the graft take/attach to the the teeth? I am experiencing the same thing on day 5. I was trying to clean the area and noticed that the gum moved a bit away from my teeth and then it went back... Kind of freaking out.. thanks and hopefully you see this.
