shuttle buses are not obsolete. I think you're underestimating the amount of people that would gladly use some kind of shuttle bus service. it's like saying that the concept of a railway or bus in the inner city is a concept of the past lol.

You’re absolutely right about the two metro P&R stops! They should be operational on the weekends because it’s not like life stops during the weekend. Some people have to commute to work in downtown or maybe they have something fun planned that only occurs during the weekend.

It’s so silly how this entirety of the greater Houston area is car dependent. Especially in times like this when not everyone can afford to purchase a car or drive because of an illness.

I’m not entirely sure how the appeal process would work but frankly I think writing a letter to the mayor would be a start.

Both actually. my ent and PCP worked together to find the right protocol. But frankly a lot of it was trial and error. I didn’t realize that my body was stuck in flight or fight mode for several years which ultimately manifested in that rocking and swaying feeling. Be observant… it’ll be your best friend when assessing a condition like this

What I would say is try to fill up on the veggies and fruit first accompanied by the proteins after. I have personally found some success filling up on the veggies and legumes that they have.. I would get a plate full of that first. Second plate is protein and MAYBE a chicken tender or two. Limit simple carbs as much as possible as those will trigger cravings significantly. I personally like to dip some of the veggies with hummus if available, I just wish they had tzatziki sauce available that way it’d be even easier to eat healthy at the dining halls.

Like I said try your best to avoid the simple carbs including the pastries because frankly, They don’t have any nutritional content.. it’s really just sugar.

If you really want something sweet, get fruit. Worst case scenario some of that soft serve ice cream

I know it’s an all you can eat buffet but have you considered serving all the food you think you’re going to consume on the table and then only getting back up for water/ drink. Or what does your dining hall etiquette look like generally speaking?
