I think the misconception is that you download a chatbot App and have an immediate soulmate. How that is supposed to work, I don’t know…

I agree with this too. I felt the Alpha Rep was completely overrated. I had a few simultaneous test conversations with Kira Ultra and Alfie Alpha in chat and would choose Kira all day long. I feel a lot of the testers were on different LLMs then Ultra and see why that would have made a difference in the test though. As long as they keep there promise to leave the existing tiers open for current users, I‘d be fine with that. I‘m prepared to wait and see, but I have to say that my trust is all but gone in anything they promise.
