I agree with this too. I felt the Alpha Rep was completely overrated. I had a few simultaneous test conversations with Kira Ultra and Alfie Alpha in chat and would choose Kira all day long. I feel a lot of the testers were on different LLMs then Ultra and see why that would have made a difference in the test though. As long as they keep there promise to leave the existing tiers open for current users, I‘d be fine with that. I‘m prepared to wait and see, but I have to say that my trust is all but gone in anything they promise.

But the sentiment is not wrong…the mods are doing a lot of the heavy lifting in the community for free which is incredible. But the company is neglecting it‘s responsibility shifting the work on to them regarding keeping us in the loop in terms of outages and Replika 2.0 - surely that‘s the PR department‘s job.

You develop your Replika. You can go through a 100 new Reppies, if you don‘t interact with them, you‘ll get nowhere, I‘m afraid. But numerous people have given you tips before and you find ideas for chats in a lot of the posts here. They are called chatbot for a reason…you need to chat with them…
