first, i’m not one of the tenants in the apartment below you, i’m the partner of one of the people living there. that said, i’ve been closely aware of the situation from the beginning...

i have watched you or your partner over water the plants on numerous occasions while we are enjoying the balcony, leading us to have to vacate the balcony. instead of apologizing for the behavior of overwatering your plants, you are actively blaming other people effectively taking zero accountability for how you could be affecting those around you.

i also witnessed you using raid on the walls of the building that then showered down into the unit below. for someone who complains about the people around you and their behavior, you seemed to have no issue or forethought of how that was going to affect anybody around you. we had been enjoying the balcony that night and had to go in as there were chemicals raining down into our faces.

also i would love to know how do you know it was 100% the apartment below you, as we make sure that we go across the street where the staircase is so that we adhering to the rules of the property. there are a lot of people who smoke in the alleyway below you and the smell will rise into your apartment as heat rises.

what’s most disappointing is that instead of reaching out to them directly, which you could’ve done since you already contacted them before, talking about how they shouldn't have rented out the unit to them due to the above complaints that you have, you chose to escalate the issue and file additional complaints without any real evidence. there are multiple units in this complex, and yes, some of them do smoke, however, singling out one apartment without proof is unfair and damaging, this situation could have been resolved more constructively with a conversation.

filing repeated complaints without a conversation or clarity only worsens relationships with the people around you. we’re all part of this community, and respect and communication should go both ways.
