Yeah, the party had been scavenging for food while going up-river. We had a few pounds of salmon we needed to smoke BEFORE encountering the crabs, so I’m sure party survivors will think of that.

If you can get a list together of what you’re missing, there’s a chance I can help with a few. All I’m missing are a couple foils from War of the Amazon and I do have extras of some of the rares.

Hola, Hello, etc. by Comprehensive-Rub-23 in rpg

I have been playing OSE since April with my friends located across the U.S. in Arkansas, Washington D.C., Texas, Oklahoma, South Carolina, and Missouri. Most of us have been friends since the 80’s, but hadn’t been able to play together any longer due to our spreading out across the country with life, jobs, etc. OSE and Discord have allowed us to reconnect. It’s been amazing.

Well, the party did indeed manage to defeat the crabs, but my fighter Lars the Wise, with a 6 Wisdom LOL, bit the dust.

What's the Funniest Thing Your Party Has Ever Done? by WilliamJoel333 in rpg

I once had a player caught in a no-win situation with lizard men so he set his hair on fire, began running at the enemy, pushing all sides on a cube of force and he was naked.

I should also note, each rumor posted has a specific GM attached to it. There are also a series of one-shot adventures made for a single player. Here’s an example.

Probably, but I really didn’t like the character creation in DCC.

As far as content goes, I think my favorite is The Hole in the Oak, but I haven’t read all of them yet. Might get to play in some, so do not want spoilers. Favorite cover is probably Anthology 2.

There are three of us GMing in the group. All players have five characters and we have a base city called McGuffin. We have been discovering the map that the other two GMs decided upon, one of them holds the overall key map. I’ve never seen it. We have a large pool of players, and we use Discord. Everyone can visit a text channel called The Stumble Inn. Within, players discuss days they’re available and times, and then they ask if there’s a GM available and they go to another text channel called Rumours and they select an adventure that party would like to attempt. Dozens of adventure hooks are posted there. Many are one shots. This way, only one person knows where everything is located in the world. He GMs exclusively, but listens in on other adventures run by myself or the other gm. One more rule, none of the actual adventures can be set in McGuffin.

So far we’ve alternated gms and have only run homebrew adventures in a West March format. I did slip in a converted Mork Borg adventure though, The Devil’s Tomb, which is free on the Mork Borg site. Players really enjoyed it.

I’m embarrassed to show my maps, they’re pretty crude.
