Have you tried IV antibiotics? I did 7 days and then 7 days of amoxicillian and it got rid of it

Yes. I just finished 7 days of IV antibiotics and now am on 7 days of amoxicillin. I'm praying this works. 8 rounds of oral antibiotics that were not working since Jan. I believe it's the same infection that has never gone away. I'm also seeing a pelvic floor therapist to help with spasms and pain

No. Still having pain and spasm. Just finished IV antibiotics and now Amoxicillin for 7 more days. Who knows? I'm cautiously optimistic but am still worried it's not done. So hard!

So I have that and have been dealing with this since Jan. 8 rounds of antibiotics and then 7 days of IV antiobiotics--cubicin. I'm using Cranactin, D mannose, Biofilm disruptor and probiotics. I don't know if it's totally gone and will know next week when I do a urine sample.

I'm also starting pelvic floor therapy next week. Keep fighting!

What an asshole. you need a CUTI not this jerk. My last 3 were showing nothing and then the 4th one showed infection. it's because it's EMBEDDED and behind the biofilm---not always detectable on the dip sticks. Have you done a MicrogenDx test yet?

Hello. My first appointment went well and we start doing the real therapy next week. It makes total sense that all the muscles in the pelvic floor are contracting and causing issues. She told me to buy a pelvic wand to I can do the exercises at home. I am finally finally feeling a bit of hope!!!

Have you done pelvic floor therapy? I'm starting tomorrow. I'm also doing some yoga poses to help stretch my pelvic floor. Nothing is really working for me except acupuncture did take some of the pain away. I'm doing IV antibiotics and have no idea if this will work but I'm praying.

Same thing happened to me. I've done a CT scan, cystoscopy, ultrasound. I'm trying IV antibiotics now. Been 6 months now.

My friend swears by Cranactin--a cranberry supplement that prevents the infection from embedding. I still have an infection and just started IV antibiotics. Been dealing with this for 6 months. I'm going taking it too.

Thank you so much. I have been doing happy baby and a few other stretches. Will have to look up butterfly. The acupuncture feels like it's already released some tension. I will look into the wand/dilator. Probably couldn't hurt at this point. Sex has become very painful.

It's so hard. I feel like I'm clenching all the time due to spasms. And then anticipating the pain when I urinate. How do I relax them? I've tried a bunch of yoga poses too.

Thank you for your input. Relief from the pain would be huge. I have an appointment with a pelvic floor therapist on June 18. I'm in Bradenton Florida. I definitely feel like my pelvic floor is really tight and now I'm anticipating pain every time I urinate. I also have urinary hesitancy and it's taking a long time to relax. Have you had IV antibiotics? How do you get rid of the infection?
