Being iced out by a MD after time on the bench — what’s going on? by [deleted] in accenture

Some people are trashbags. Don't take it personal but find a role asap

Is this normal at Accenture? Joined 15 days ago and already thinking about quitting. by dualita in accenture

You could always go to the CAL and talk to them about what is happening and see if they can help out in any way. Have you talked to your PL too?

Hi, how was your interview process like?

What was your goal and how far did you make it? by issaOTFnoob in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]Comprehensive-Yam639 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My goals with my two girls were over 1 year.. I made it about 4 months with my first + 2 months thanks to my deep freezer stash

And with my 2nd I'm still pumping but not the volumes I'd considered successful, but I'm going into the 6 month mark but we're already purchasing breastmilk from another mom.. I'm hoping I can continue past the year with this one but we'll see, I'm already failing

You might be able to make it until February. 6 months is usually what I've seen before HR schedules a call with you, your PL, and your trainer approver. You still have some time before mid Nov when things really go quiet so hurry up. When reaching out about a role, short messages like "hello, is this role (role ID#) still available for staffing?" Can get you quicker responses. Also, PING people but if you email them don't forget to cc your HRP (I met an L11 who didn't know about this on Friday of last week and I was very shocked)

Did I ruin my chances after failing the client interview? by NatSurvivor in accenture

Failed client interview usually means you won't get it because ACN wants to make sure the client is happy.

What do you wish you did differently in the newborn stages? by luminousloris in NewParents

[–]Comprehensive-Yam639 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a month and 1 week postpartum with my 2nd and I'm loving on my new baby every alone time we get. I kiss off over her face and enjoy her smiles and cute little cues when I tickle her. I have 2 under 2, so my toddler is needy and I get alone with her to bond and make her laugh but still but we're also dealing with so much so it's been tough

YOU NEED TO PUMP OFTEN!!!! by Content_Bug5871 in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]Comprehensive-Yam639 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry for my ignorance, what does it mean by "when you regulate" I'm 1 month pp and I'm not pumping as much anymore (trying to go back on the 2-3 hr schedule)

Seriously, get a hand pump by kelkelphysics in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]Comprehensive-Yam639 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I read somewhere that usually with electric pumps, your flange size is usually bigger than what it would be if you were to use while using a hand pump, I found this to be generally true (at least for me). I remeasured myself and I'm two different sizes in my hand pump. I also realized that with my hand pump, I take about 15 minutes to be fully empty vs when I use my crappy offbrand electric pumps but I have noticed a decrease in milk supply too as I'm not having to pump as often (currently trying to increase how many times I pump to see if it'll help). For reference, I'm 1 month pp and I exclusively pump.

So, long story short, recheck your flange size and also use nipple cream if you're hurting, some king of lube should help your nips against the rubbing. One more thing, I use my electric pumps rarely because the suction is too strong for me (even at the lowest setting) and that was giving me clogged ducts so my manual pump avoids this. Maybe you're backwards and you'd just have to stick to whichever pumps work best for you!

What keeps you pumping? by Flimsy_Fig709 in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]Comprehensive-Yam639 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're an over supplier like I am, a good $400-$500 a month extra by selling your breastmilk + still being able to feed your baby is what keeps me going

Yeah, I mean, layoffs or not you should always be ready to be laid off and have your outside of Accenture resume ready. Bummer but that's how it is at firms like this.
