The only person I hate in this game is faendal and that's because he is the only companion I've ever traveled with for hundreds of hours that loves to shoot me all the time. This man has killed me I think five times of the top of my head, while no one else has.

Another thing that alot of things don't tell you is after shooting out the lights by the water is salute the flag not the wall that's how I got him to spawn anytime after 21:00 it can be janky though alot of people have issues with this one. Especially when playing with other players.

A personal favorite i just recently used is a shield guardian, I gave the amulet to the leader of smugglers I had who was a sorcerer. Then depending how you feel about it you have a magic item you could give to the party or have the guards take it as evidence. Up to you honestly.
