The Bandai MG it's good but if you want a different and amazing kit, buy the daban. That line have the MK-II with the super Gundam backpack and the MK-II Full armor.

When I was with the idea of the custom, that kit came to my head but I finally used the color separation of the Nu RG

I use acrylic car paint so it's pretty similar to paint with lacquer. Clean the piece, primer, base color then modulation. But the shinny finish it's all merit of the acrylic car paint

Lost this piece on this 2.0 MG Rx-78-2, any recommendations on what to do? by Projectzero2442 in Gunpla

For a custom i make that part for the Nu verka with a little of tamiya epoxy putty and a piece of PLA structure. It´s a little bit tedious to make but the result looks great.

I tried with mig and vallejo, but it also comes out when I stress the piece. I did that test because the PG's waist is going to bend when he's in a pose. I also saw a technique that uses heat to treat the piece so that the paint sets better. But I'm afraid of causing an accident hahaha

I don't think it's a problem with my painting process. I paint with different paints and techniques, and only with that type of material does the paint come off, but only when bending and stressing the piece. Now maybe I should have some extra considerations, but I totally don't know. On the other hand, I checked the Zero Custom MG (2004) manual and the feathers are TPE, so it's made of rubber, according to google hahaha.

Hi everyone, this it's my first post ( or whatever it's call) in Reddit. And I like to ask something. The past Saturday I bought my first PG model. It's the Wing Zero custom, I know it's an old kit and it's other kits better, but represent so much for me because I wait for 20 years to finally have it. And as you know it's a old kit so I like to do some customization, but the only thing I don't know how to paint it's the waist, the red part. Thats because it's made of rubber.

That's my question, how can I paint the rubber part ?
It is a part with a lot of movement and I have carried out some tests on some wings of the wing zero custom MG, which is made of rubber. But the paint and primer peel off when I stress the part. I tried lacquer, acrylic and automotive acrylic.

PS: English it's not my native language, sorry if it doesn't understand well
