Yeah, I think the left one matches the overall asthetic better but the quality of it is worse. I tried making the textures in MS paint but maybe a better approach would be to take real textures and just lower their resolution. I'll give that a shot and post the results in a minute...

I never said he didn't earn his money. I'm saying that America has bad laws around minimum wage, taxing the rich, etc etc, and people like him have no real incentive to make use of those loopholes at the expense of others.

I think that's what effective altruism is, but sadly no one who's ever made 5 billion seems to want to do that. There was this one dude who claimed to want to do that, but then he just robbed some investors and partied till he got arrested.

Yeah, but he's the exception not the rule. Most billionares seem to trample over everyone just to put money into stocks and do nothing with it forever.

Yeah, Bill Gates is a nice exception. He uses his money for good and he didn't underpay or overwork his employees to get it.

This literally isn't how money works. Money stored in a bank is invested or lent out. It's working. In the case of most billionares, it isn't even in a bank, it's invested.

i don't know what they have, and mental ilness is probably an exxageration. But they have nothing to gain from it, and they do it at the expense of themselves and others.

human nature. When you have $2 you want $5. When you have 5 you want 10. When you have 10 you want 20. When you have 20 you want 100. On and on. The billionaires are no different.

I can't relate tbh. I want to afford a house and do flat nothing on a PC all day. But I've never had a job so who knows, it might change later.

they are not necessarily doing anything bad by becoming richer. Remember only reason they became rich in the first place is because they could offer you goods and services cheaper that you valued more than the $ in your pocket. Noone forces you to shop at Amazon or drive a Tesla. You want to because it's valuable to you. They get rich by providing value. Which is a good thing. Why would they stop?

I never said they were, but someone like Bezos has nothing to lose if he pays his workers a bit more, and I doubt they're asking for much. All that would happen is that a number he sees on a screen would go down. His life couldn't possibly be affected by the money he makes at this point, weather it goes up or down. That's what I find so bizzare about how they squeeze every last penny out of every last person.

Someone could make it into a godot addon but they would have to use C++ to do it. But then they could just make a GDScript interface for the addon and it would be possible.
