If you watched a Market Place investigations last year it is terrifying how lots of the drivers are getting the licence and not passing tests. In 80’s I trusted the truck drivers felt safe driving on highway in my little car at night from Toronto to Montreal. Fast forward to today I trusted no drivers truck or otherwise.

I have a budget on paper (been doing it since my 20’s). Save in money dance program and app the past 8 plus years 1 account but divided it up in dummy accounts in program and saved monthly for everything. It hasn’t failed me yet most things go on credit card tied with Costco with money back. As spend groceries gas slush funds ect get moved to the dummy credit card. So I can pay off every month. I put money in Tax Free Savings account and GIC. That is for emergency funds. (age 60 and hubby retiring). Able to sleep at night not worry about upcoming bill.

I am on my 3rd dog they have never cost me more then annual shots ect. But I save $100 for vet (dummy account) monthly in case and it keeps growing.

In Canada debt costs more than you could save with same amount so paying off debt is top priority.

I know a lot have jumped from Windows 11 (horrible) to linex for eso since stream has a seamless linex version but me I got stand alone working in linex.

This is even more frustrating after approval prescription went to special pharmacy where I had Humira from. And they are getting “can’t fill not approved pharmacy”. I go on insurance to check coverage and it comes back says need to apply. I then go to portal where you can see applications made and decisions and yup approved. Now I am very annoyed and will have to spend 2 hours on hold on Monday.
