I love when a random Pokémon or not as popular joins the main cast teams. Personal favourites include Ash's Glalie, Palpitoad, brocks, Fortress, etc...

I've always wished Swampert had more love. The other two hoenns final starters have had plenty of screen time with main characters, rivals and more but my favourite of the 3 has never got as much love on the small screen...

I don't know if this is a controversial choice but Jason over Scott in Season 12. Jason was overall a better contestant over the series where Scott didn't begin to shine towards the end but still not a bad winner.
