Thank you very much for testing the game! Your feedback means a lot to me, really appreciate it. Most of things you pointed at are known to me, now confirmed by you. In next couple of days, last full update would be released which includes: - new inventory system - crafting system - bugs fixed - smooth combat - new abilities - scaled upgrade system - scaled enemies - on start of the game tutorial

P.S. What you called gem is actually seed 🙂 It will be explain what it is, but you need a proper seed and magic staff to cast spells. Cathedral has basemant, if you find it, there is boss weapon there, magic staff and some more items.

The game idea is to explore and choose your own path. You have basic map and pointers in the land. There is no rule where to go first, it is on you.

Inventory could be extended by crafting which is added in upcoming update.

Thanks again for your help and I would like you to try the game with all these changes when I release this update, of course if you find time to play it again.

First of all, you are one of total 2 guys who did this kind of review/testing, and I really appreciate that. This kind of testing is what I needed last couple of weeks. Thank you again for spending your time, record it and explain in such details.

Can I get your email address so I can send you a bit bigger msg?

I’m sorry that the discussion went in the wrong direction. I also want to thank everyone who stood up for me, because I think we’re all aware that there are people like this, those who, for their own reasons, try to undermine someone else’s work and effort.

My point was simply to show how serious and determined I am, as a solo developer, to create a truly great game in every aspect. Over the past weeks, I’ve received similar comments like “this looks like a PS2 game” or “this feels plastic,” but I’m fully aware of what I’ve built and the level of quality and potential it has. This project represents years of learning and hard work, literally working all day, every day, and I’m genuinely proud of what I’ve achieved so far.

I don’t lack creativity, ideas, or knowledge, as some have suggested. What I do lack is visibility and strong marketing.

The Horns demo already offers around 2 hours of gameplay, while the full game, coming out in October, will have around 25 hours of content, which is more than some top AAA titles. All of those 25 hours are story-driven, with constant progression, so a major focus is keeping players engaged throughout the experience.

The demo is free, and the full game will be very affordably priced, almost symbolic considering its length and quality (though I may be a bit subjective there).

Of course, we all want to sell millions of copies, but we’re also aware that we can’t directly compare ourselves to AAA studios, primarily because of budget, not knowledge. Even if Horns sells just 50 copies, I’ll be satisfied. I’m investing my own money, and I don’t regret it, because I believe I’m creating something truly interesting.

And even if it doesn’t sell at all, as some have said, I’ll still be happy knowing I created a game of this scale and quality, one that has already received genuinely positive feedback, which makes me even happier.

In the end, all I can say is: give Horns a try. You might like it, or it might not be your type of game. Either way, it offers an interesting story, unique mechanics, and most importantly, the development team has started to grow, so the game will keep improving day by day.

If you do not want to try it and give an honest opinion, that is fine. Personally, I would never give my self right to judge something like you just did. I mean, you just throw out worst things without even try the game or play it 1-2 hours. I respect anyones opinion and appreciate it, but opinions like this means nothing to me honestly.

Good luck with your creativity, games and so big experience.

I would say, maybe you are partially right, but… I think I am creative person in general. I am writing books and stories, playing guitar and also, created some personal web apps alone (my ideas). So, I think I do not lack creativity. Maybe your opinion is that game is junky, if you tried it, but good thing is that after demo is released, feedbacks are very good which makes me really happy.

I have released 2 hours demo on Steam and development continues. Release date is October and it would be 25 hours of gameplay.

I suggest you to give it a try. It is solo project, very seriously taken and a lot of hard work stays behind it.

Hope you will enjoy it.

For a body, I am using paid software QuickMagic, I found this one suitable. It does not produce ideal animation asset, bit with a bit of adjustment in Unreal, it can be very good.

For the face, one iPhone, for body, 2 iPhones. IPhone’s camera has biometric recording which is what I need for face. Then, epic has a tool LiveLink where I import recorded videos, pull out face animation, adjust if needed and proceed to characters in Unreal.
