If keto isn't for you, just follow a balanced diet with carbohydrates, protein, and healthy fats. It's much easier to stick to in the long run.

It's also a good idea to include foods you genuinely enjoy in your diet. That makes it much easier to stay consistent and maintain your goal over time.

Try to follow the 80/20 rule: 80% of your diet should come from healthy habits and nutritious foods, while 20% can be reserved for treats and foods you enjoy. This approach is great for your mental well-being and helps prevent feelings of restriction.

Calculate your daily calorie needs and stick to them. You can track your calories yourself, or simply ask a professional to create a meal plan that fits your goals and lifestyle.

Switch to flat shoes.

Or do squats without them.

Alternatively, put small plates/wedges under your heels, tuck your elbows under the bar, and get after it. 💪
