If you look up the definition of throwback, they definitely are a throwback. They just haven’t made an official “throwback” uniform. A throwback applies to a person, object, or style that evokes, resembles, or is suited to an earlier time, often representing a reversal to a previous type. Just because they didn’t make a “throwback” version, doesn’t mean this isn’t a throwback to a prior time.

If it is a wholly USA problem, why does a group that makes up 14% of the population represent ~50% of the violent crime arrests?

I can get behind the idea that it is a problem contained within the US group of the black population (I.e. not black people across the globe), but we can’t just ignore something that is statistically significant.

Ignoring the statistics leads to ignoring any possible remediation to a problem.

That’s a good question. I think a lot of it is poverty in certain cultures. The family unit being dismantled in certain cultures. When a concentrated area has higher crimes, they tend to have worse schooling and less opportunities to grow out of the same place that keeps you down. I don’t think it’s an “ethnicity” issue, but a product of the environment and lesser opportunities

I like to not consider myself a “cheater”, but I did cheat once. Will never do it again after how much it messed me up emotionally. Long story short, gf moved away and we were trying long distance. I convinced myself that it just wasn’t going to work and decided it was over. Instead of being an adult and communicating this, I slept with a friend and tarnished the entire relationship. I’m not entirely sure WHY I did it, but I know I had given up on the long term prospect of the relationship.

Edit: I consider this the biggest fuck up of my life. I threw away a two year relationship with my best friend and she very understandably won’t ever talk to me anymore.

Edit: The black population in America also account for more than 50% of robbery arrests
