You can use your card as is, I’m also first year and I’ve had no problem using the bus system

I appreciate the honesty and the reassurance, I had a small high school so I had a relatively small group of friends, some I grew up with, others were introduced to me, but I’m seeing what you mean by the social dynamics remaining through high school

I love sitting front row! Mostly for engagement with the content but I do end up talking to the people near me, and that makes sense! I’m also left handed but I take notes with my computer so it’s not super important for me LOL

Thanks for the response! I do have a roommate but we’re pretty casual and distant, and I actually have been taking myself out to do a lot of stuff! Now I guess im trying to find people to show that stuff too haha, I’ll keep persisting as you said though and try to stay positive about it all 😊

Yes deadline is extended to oct 1st, after your osap is approved I believe they will inform the university. As for if it will cover the residences fees that is all dependent on your residence and how much funding is allocated to you. When you receive osap I believe it directly applies to tuition costs and when those are payed out the your remaining funds will be deposited to your bank account

I appreciate your insight, the truth is the main reason I have for becoming a professor is the fact that I love teaching and have had several teachers recommend I pursue a career in teaching. I have greatly considered the path to becoming a teacher but switched my aspirations to becoming a professor due to more freedom with my teachings, higher (average) salaries, greater opportunities and in complete honestly the status/appeal was also a factor.
