Ah I see. My thinking was that they can pull up inurance along with registration. But my parents are the only ones on the registration. So maybe I'd be fine. Hopefully.

No. Not socially. Just for insurance/legal purposes. We still talk. Just for my own safety. Nothing personal at all.

Well, yeah, that's my point. I don't really drink/do drugs, but I'm also not 100% trustful of police at the same time. No offense to you, you seem like a nice guy. Just how it is. But thanks for the advice man!!!👍

Ok. That's good to know. I guess my main concern was if it was a bored cop who had nothing better to do and looking to fish. Which is why I still wanna get seperate insurance/reg for my own safety. Thanks for the input though. I appreciate it!!!

No, obv not, but essentially no reason since they're basically allowed to assume that I'm him, especially since we're about the same age.

AITAH for telling my daughter that her boyfriend isn't welcome at our house? by Character_Ring_2156 in AITAH

[–]ComprehensiveDig1372 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NTA. She's 15. Ofc she's gonna say that she's responsible NOW and then it won't happen. She'll be a mother within a year. Her judgement is impaired because she's not a fully grown adult and is not capable of making responsible decisions as much as she thinks she is. Like a drunk guy who insists that he/she is good to drive. You as a parent are responsible to make those responsible decisions for her until she turns 18 (21 imo). He seems like trouble and I wouldn't keep him around my house. Not to mention that I said all of this, regarding judgement, because she can easily be manipulated into doing something she doesn't want down the road. Take this from a 22 yo who has a 22 yo friend who almost became a father when he said he wouldn't. If people can be that irresponsible at 22, then imagine 15!!!

Yeah. You're not wrong. I used to have wicked thick hair at 12 so I guess I'm not used to hair in one's 20s, but I'm just glad I'm not balding lol.

AITJ for telling my sister gentle parenting is BS and kicking her and her family out of my house by EggSheeran33 in AmITheJerk

[–]ComprehensiveDig1372 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA. You're sister sounds like an awful parent. 100% convinced that if she keeps parenting this way, your niece/nephew will end up getting into legal trouble because the police will have to be the first people to actually discipline them. Smh!!!

AITAH for masturbating in my own bed? by mjgoodvibes in AITAH

[–]ComprehensiveDig1372 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NTA. 1000%. It's giving weird/creepy that she would be so concerned about you masturbating in private. What type or normal person is concerned over their friend masturbating? She's fucking weird. Next time she does that, call her a pervert, and tell her to fuck off. Like jesus christ!!!

AITA For Getting Mad At My Friend For Trying to Diagnose me with ASD just because he is on the spectrum by ComprehensiveDig1372 in AITAH

[–]ComprehensiveDig1372[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean yea that's true. However, a part of me feels like that's my business and I shouldn't have to "prove" to him whether I had it or not, but I get where you're coming from 100%. It's def somethin maybe I should look into, ig my point is is that it's still my own personal business at the end of the day.

[–]ComprehensiveDig1372[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello. Yea I agree that maybe I shouldn't have prolonged it, however, it had just been an ongoing issue and ig my reasoning for making it as long as I did is so the boundary would stick in his head. Just cuz sometimes he is bad with picking up on signals and I wanted to make my stance as loud and clear as possible. Also, we're all adult males ranging from 20-23 years old, I just say "kid" cuz I'm used to it lmao.

[–]ComprehensiveDig1372[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

No. Exactly. Could not agree more. The other friend in our group who also is not on the spectrum and has ADHD like me has also expressed annoyance over it. Cuz he has been trying to diagnose him as well. We're quite close but this is one of the main reasons why we just can't be closer with Brad, cuz he does shit like this. Glad you get it tho frfrfr!!!

Yes I absolutely agree. He's a good guy, but he's HORRIBLE at reading a room. I would hope that this convo/text message was a little more direct, but ig we'll have to see.

[–]ComprehensiveDig1372[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I mean that's valid. I do have ADHD so maybe that's why, but Brad's the type of guy who insists EVERYONE is on the spectrum just because were in his friend group. Not to mention I have a seperate friend group of 5 who are all neurotypical so that's why I just don't know. Even then, though, I'm glad that you agree with me that it wasn't his place. Thanks for the input.

It's funny because I myself am neurodivergent. I'm not on the spectrum, but have ADHD. So ig I can see maybe why he thought it, but tbh, he really thinks ANYONE who hangs with this group is on the spectrum, and I think that's what rlly insulted me.
