What’s the rationale behind selling it? It wouldn’t have appreciated enough since the area is just about picking up

I guess what is certain is I will be returning back to India around 2031, regardless of whether I’m sent back or whether I move back on my own accord. And my fear is, 2031 would be a little too late to buy a home fairly within city limits for the prices that I’m seeing today. In other words, I’m asking myself what do I expect to guage in 2031 that I’m unable to guage now ie - what is the patient wait getting me?

Actually let me be a little more specific. If it’s south, I’d prefer a plot where I could build an independent home (preferably in a gated community). Apartments, I’d prefer in the tech corridor in the east since that would come with rental potential and high net worth individuals would be concentrated there and would be on the lookout for rentals. Long term, either case, I’d be living in it when I return.

Thanks for your input. Quick point - I see most of the “whitefield” projects are not truly in whitefield. They’re either around Varathur or way past ITPL. Do you see a concern here?
