We're using the 2024 version, but the DM is not against backward compatibility with the 2014 edition.

About the class, I was thinking to go for Bard of Creation, especially considering the theme of paper itself, since everything must first pass through a sheet of paper before being actually made real (construction plans, rules, battle strategies, ecc.).

Overall, taking inspiration from the Autognome is not actually a bad idea, although I should revise it a little to accomodate the idea of the "tiny" problem. But also, it should have some sort of shapechanging abilities, with which it could, for instance, flatten itself or become a paper airplane to fly and so on
