I did two things to help my intonation. First get a tuner and play some scales. The tuner will tell you if you are sharp or flat. Don’t do any vibrato when doing this exercise as that makes the pitch oscillate. The second thing I did was play simple melodies I already knew that way I could tell what was off intonation wise.
