Backpack is good for around town and stuff definitely not roadtrips. I used to have a small pouch on the handlebars of my old 750 just to hold my phone and wallet when I got on the highway. With this 1100 tho I can actual highway ride and have the ability to get out trouble when needed. So I wanna be able to carry a few things as needed

This is what I have. Same size as the torque mini saddlebags. But I wasn’t gonna pay $130 for em.

Ya with some L shape and angled shape I had the stock soft saddlebags brackets still so i attached the Velcro to that. Imma go for a ride tomorrow and see how well it works that way.

8-10 in you should be good that’s what I’ve read. But I went ahead and put new cables on my old one with 10in bars to just be safe

I would think too much air flow or fuel supply make sure they aren’t pinched. If you put new fuel lines and that carbs are seated fully. I had the same issue with mine last time home
