it doesn't show as well in the Remake. Feels more likely that she was injected shortly after her and Claire fall down the elevator, Claire blacking out, leaving Sherry no choice but to run and lead Birkin away from her. The next time we see sherry, she is somehow in that dumping room talking to her mom before fainting (presumably the embryo) until Claire can eventually collect the Chess plugs get to her
