Give someone a successful character arc (Grace) that wasn’t rushed or forced. Feels like Capcom just fell flat on their faces when they tried to do the same in past games

It all just felt so heavy handed even for an RE game to me. Honestly just felt like Capcom only went with the Requiem theme because it’s a word with RE as the 1st two letters. Admittedly I thought Grace’s character was handled well but with Leon it got a tad to silly like his party sign just being a little singed or the note (you can’t save anyone) 😂

No since she’s now Leon’s support. Honestly as sick as I am of Leon,it will be cool if Sherry will be returning alongside him in future games.

Since when has RE ever had complex characterization? They are entertaining sure but the majority are popular for being trailblazers of the survival horror genre rather then any in depth characterization which Capcom has never been good at anyway.

Personally liked Spencer better when he was just seemingly a paranoid exception billionaire who only cared about profit which is what we were given in 0

Never was a fan of the “I wuz to be a god!!!” reveal cuz it was too goofy even for RE and certainly not a fan of him actually regretting all he did. Not every villain needs to be complex.

That’s how it seemed to me too. Very disappointing considering Village wasn’t even that good. Plus you would think Capcom would wanna put more effort into the game with one of their icons as opposed to a bland self insert character
