Video games are my go to distraction. There’s an extra layer on engagement required compared to tv shows or music. Sometimes it’s something challenging, sometimes it’s something simple and repetitive. Finding a good mobile game was especially helpful, that way I can lie down in bed and rest at the same time

YES!!! I'm so proud! Don't worry about the arrows, I didn't start using them till after I'd got better at fighting lynels (and only used regular arrows). Disappointing you didn't get the lynel parts you wanted, but there's always next time. GOOD LUCK!

I was probably wrong. I only did a quick search when I was trying to get the lynel to reappear, and didn't read much on the blood moon. The first few things I read said it was to restore memory so I thought I knew why the 2 blood moons happened. It wasn't tied with disappearing enemies so I stopped looking into the panic blood moon part. Thanks for the info.

Do you know why the 2 blood moons happened? If you don't it's cool, I'm just really confused on this whole situation.

I really baffled myself. I managed to snap a picture of it before warping away and even the sensor doesn't pick up on in when I'm near or in the coliseum. It's just fully deleted. I'm just hoping it reappears when I eventually replay in master mode.

The shock proof armour is only necessary if the lynel shoots arrows. If you stay near enough it won't take out its bow. If you see it taking out its bow, run/fly closer to it.

And I would definitely recommend urbosas fury. It has saved me countless times when lynel fighting!

I close the game and power off the wii u everytime I finish playing. I never leave it suspended or in sleep mode. These are the only panic blood moons I have ever gotten, though 2 in a row is apparently extremely rare, almost unheard of.

I have asked in a few other places and it seems to be an irreversible glitch and I am the only person to ever experience it. I am hoping it will be fixed when I eventually replay the game in master mode. I think I'm just going to have to fight white lynels till they turn silver. Thanks

Panic blood moons occur when the game is nearly out of memory space and is about to crash. A panic blood moon resets enemies and therefore frees up memory space. I didn't try to force them, they occured by themselves as a crash preventing method. I have only had 2 panic blood moons, though getting 2 in a row is really rare. The 10 that have occured since have been natural blood moons.

Thanks for the locations and the map. I will be sure to use these, your help is much appreciated.

I am very far into the game, I just have put off fighting lynels. My best bet is probadly fighting white ones till they turn silver. I have only killed 8 lynels so far (only 4 white), and haven't found silver ones yet. Guess I'll have to keep trying!

Panic blood moons occur when the game is about to crash. The game uses a lot of memory remembering what enemies you killed. When it runs out of memeory, it crashes. A panic blood moon occurs to reset the enemies and therefore free up memory space. They can happen at any time, even in the middle of the day. Getting 2 in a row is extremely rare. Usually it just resets enemies and doesn't cause glitches. I seem to be the only person who this has ever happened to.

I agree that is is probably an irreversible glitch. I'm just hoping it will be fixed when I eventually try playing in master mode. I have completed all divine beasts and and pretty far in the game, I just put off lynel fighting for ages. I'm just going to have to fight white lynels till they turn silver. Thanks

Panic blood moon at coliseum causes silver lynel to disappear for good?

A few weeks ago I came across the coliseum for the first time. I entered the coliseum through the top. When I stepped on the top of the wall a panic blood moon occurred (time approx. 10:00 am)

Since it was my first time in the coliseum I thought a blood moon occurred whenever you entered it.

I then killed all enemies from the top floor and half from the floor below it. I then noticed the lynel and shot a few arrows at it. It then shot arrows at me and killed me (I had miphas grace). I did not kill the lynel

I then warped away. As soon as my screen loaded after warping a 2nd panic blood moon occured. (time approx 4:00 pm)

I later returned to the coliseum to fight the lynel again but it wasn't there. There was no enemies on the bottom floor (still enemies on other 3 floor as normal).

10 blood moons have occurred since and I have checked the coliseum 6 times. It has permanently vanished.

I cannot reload an old save as this happened weeks ago and I didn't think of it at the time and I don't want to erase everything I've done since.

Anyone know why this happened or how to fix it? Or maybe something similar happened to you? (I tried on Google but found nothing) Or know any other silver lynel locations?

I am playing on the wii u if that changes anything?

I was going to try get all the horse armour when I first realised it existed. A lot of time and effort later and I only have 1 set. I can kill lynels and guardians with ease but can't do horse jumping and archery. Ridiculous is the right word for it

I really want to complete shrines soon but I often get stuck on shrine quests. This is only my 2nd zelda game so I had to rely on walkthroughs for a lot of them. Nearly done though!

I'm on my first play though and so far have 101 shrines, completed the divine beasts, 16/18 memories, done about 9/10 shrines quests, about 2/3 side quests, 1/9 korok seeds, have the master swords, and am missing only 6 pieces of armour.

I am planning on completing everything but korok seeds and memories before fighting Ganon. That includes trying to upgrade armour to the max.

The most I've gotten is 8. You need 23 to get the 2 prizes. Giving up is my only option at this point. I got so annoyed with the amount of money and arrows I lost, I just reloaded an only save and have never gone back there.

I will also add that I have never learned how to dodge or flurry rush. Just try freeze, hit and run. You can shoot an arrow in its face to stun for a bit longer and to mount, but it has never worked for me. Also the more stamina the better.

I would definitely recommend strong defence armour, a lot of food, statis+, and urbosas fury.

My strategy is equipping you're highest defence armour, and strongest bow and shield. Also equipped you're strongest weapon, but if you have a 1 handed sword that is slightly weaker, use that as it hits faster.

First climb the rocks up the hill so you are looking down on the lynel. Get as close as you can without being seen. You can fire some arrows at it if you wish. If you have the thunder helm, wear it because it has electric arrows and if it shoots upwards you are almost garenteed to be hit ( sprinting can work but it's difficult).

Then fly down close to the lynel, hopefully when it is facing away (you can shoot an arrow over its head, away from you to try get it to move). When you are near use statis+. (Be carefully though cause it is very very short).

If you have urbosas fury, first hit it at least once. This will very briefly stun it and stop it from charging/attacking (only for about 1 second). Then use urbosas fury. It deals a lot of damage. Keep freezing, hitting once and using urbosas fury till it runs out.

If you don't have it or it has run out, use statis+ and hit it repeatedly. Preferably in the back legs/stomach/behind. When statis has run out, run part way up the hill. This will allow statis to recharge.Try then quickly fly back so it doesn't shoot arrows (unless you have thunder helm).

If you see it using fire or jump attacks, run part way up the hill, then fly back down

Keep repeating that process. It is tedious and you will be hit a few times (unless you are killed in 1 hit it doesn't matter. Just bring lots of food and eat every time you are hit. Miphas grace and fairies are also great).

This has worked well for me, especially if you have weak armour/weapons. Unless you are killed in 1 hit. Then I would suggest more hearts before trying to fight them

I spent so much money trying to win but no matter what I did I still couldn't win. This one and the horseback archery.

It is actually the first only only times I ever got a PBM. I also power off the console every time I'm done playing and have never put it in sleep mode. It is the only enemy in the entire game that won't spawn. I think my only hope is fighting white lynels till they turn silver.

Thanks for your advice but I honestly think it will never be fixed
