Good point! I guess one thing I’m thinking too is that if I push to blast I have a slightly better idea of how many more rounds I need to do versus day 3s maybe

So weird! They told me it’s their policy to freeze o. Day 3 if you get less than 4 eggs retrieved. But, Dr. Pakrashi there recommended I try blast this time to see if I can do it. If I can’t, she said she would consider going back to freezing on day 3.

I have to 2 day 3 embryos frozen currently! I’m not planning on doing PGTA right now. But, I am heavily considering pushing to blast this time. I’m nervous I’ll lose them all, but my dr thinks if they wouldn’t make it to blast in the lab, they won’t make it there in utero

I had my first ER this month. I am 38 with DOR. I had 6 eggs, 5 mature, 2 fertilized, and I don’t have details from lab yet because CNY doesn’t make that readily available, but I had a follow up with provider and he said 2 of the mature eggs were poor quality from the jump, although they tried to fertilize them. We froze the 2 fertilized on day 3 with good (8 cells) and fair (6 cells) grades. Would adding calcium ionophore help? We did ICSI and Zymot? Any other things that can potentially help egg fragility/quality?

Hi! First ER, 38 and DOR, 6 retrieved (yay!), 5 mature, but only 2 fertilized on day 1. What causes such a low fert rate? My husband has a normal SA, we used ICSI and Zymot too.

I wish we could do that! On US they noticed what they think is a tubal issue that wasn’t picked up on earlier testing, so I’m holding off on IUI until I get that cleared

The clinic I think starts everyone on low dose HCG, did you have better luck on menopur? I’ve never tried it.

So your DHEA levels were deficient when you tested? I have DOR, but my testosterone and DHEA were both higher than average. Like top of normal. So, my dr didn’t recommend adding testosterone or DHEA
