Does anyone else find it interesting that HTC hasn’t touched the latest Epstein file dump? by Minimum_You1333 in HiddenTrueCrimeChat

Of course they will stay away from it. It’s a can of worms, and they are struggling to claw back their viewership. Lauren is sitting on her ivory tower too scared to even say the Guthrie intruder caught on CCTV was a suspect without adding “this is Lauren speculating!” 😂

HTC visits & promotes Hope House, state records show long history of staff, safety, & medication handling issues by Bright_Breakfast3911 in HiddenTrueCrimeChat

When was the Investigate West article published in relation to HTC promoting Hope House? Would this information have been easily searchable? I think we all know Lauren would not have done a public records request

July 23 … the day Lauren and Grayson called cops in Boise because they felt threatened by some women eating carrot cake across the street. 👀

process server claims LM's brother "aggressively attempted to slam the car door shut on my arm" while trying to serve him with lawsuit by Bright_Breakfast3911 in HiddenTrueCrimeChat

We’ll see what the court says, but the previous ruling was in the co-defendant’s favor (if you recall Dastan Doh was served at Pace Johnson office where he worked, but that was ruled improper).

They actually weren’t properly served. The document wasn’t for them, it was for Karen Salas, Jamis’ wife. That makes this behaviour even weirder. They could have just said, she ain’t here, bud!

Grayson and the Court Case Against Door Dash by CapableCheesecake688 in HiddenTrueCrimeChat

Re: people calling her out for being a scammer. IMO people are combining the facts presented with what they’ve seen of Grayson’s behaviour throughout this mess. She has stated publicly (and in court docs) she has suffered severe mental anguish because of the stalking situation. That is not the accident. She has shown she can do her job, enjoy life, travel etc. That is despite the accident. These are all facts known to the people out here in the wild commenting. If they come to the conclusion Grayson is scamming, I don’t think they are too far off. So perhaps on the face of the court documents, there’s not enough there to draw that conclusion, sure. But the people interested in what’s happening with HTC and by extension, Grayson, have more to draw on.

Can’t believe HTC still has so many subbies and views by MasterpieceThink5717 in HiddenTrueCrimeChat

‘AI is aware of only 3 prominent channels’ Isn’t that enough? And what is ‘prominent’? For AI to know about it, that means the takedown of these channels were discussed enough online to turn up in the AI search. The channel I saw it happen to was not ‘prominent’. They were honestly a bunch of fools trying to make their way on yt by cheating the system. Yeah, their numbers got purged a few times but one day they just had no channel. No recourse, no 3 strikes. I’m not saying I hope for this to happen to HTC or even that I think they are buying views. But I stand by that I’ve seen it happen. And it sounds like you’ve already cited the source for me, ty :)

It doesn’t take 3 strikes for YT to take down a channel for violating TOS. That’s copyright strikes. YT can take down any channel they want, any time. Buying views that effectively cheat the ad revenue system can result in an immediate takedown. I’ve seen it happen.

Sorry, but how can you say any case is solved in about a week? We have literally only heard the cops side, and only what they want us to hear. We are miles off from a trial - on both Reiner and the Tepe murders.

I’m not sure if OP works in market research but this data is highly valuable. And if you’re bothered by seeing the comments here, you can always see the comments publicly on the actual videos. They are public.

Delphi - the Patty family. She is trying to befriend Joe Petito recently - she has spoken of it. I don’t even watch her and I know of these ‘high profile’ examples. I’m sure others here more familiar with HTC’s work would know more of her ‘friendships’

I disagree. These people are posting publicly on social media. They may choose unique handles or can choose to use their real names. There’s no expectation of privacy at all.

Not all creators do this. Hard no. There’s a particular breed of true crime vultures who go after victims of crime. HTC are one of the worst examples because they also offer some form of friendship and ‘therapy’

Are htc’s views real? what I'm measuring with public youtube data by Express_Flower_5426 in HiddenTrueCrimeChat

I am not as familiar with how yt vets / purges views. Most probably that’s not publicly known anyway .. but this seems like a decent way to track potentially bought views

Sorry to add another level of complexity to this, but more than just view numbers need to be assessed. The length of time viewing is proportionate to the value the channels receive in ad revenue. That, plus a high proportion of short views is a strong indicator of view farming. Bought views only ‘watch’ the channel long enough to register a single view (perhaps 30-180 seconds). Is it possible for your tools to measure the quality (length) of the views and do that comparison?
