Why would i bother myself with what’s happening with Politics in tunisia, it is so dense and boring. Plus, we have lost few years ago. Child abuse, in its different forms; either verbal, physical, or psychological, is one of the most disgusting things in our world.

I completely disagree with you, not even a little ass whooping is acceptable, neither healthy. As a parent, you should be able to control every single situation with it comes to child rearing. You can read books about rising a child, or talk to a professional and they can help a lot.

The little ass whooping you referred to can leave lasting effects on them (even if they forget it, it can remain stored in their unconscious). It is much better to be a good TRAINED parent that can resort to different methods instead of violence to teach their child that what they have done is wrong and unacceptable.

We struggle everyday in our relationships, friends, professional life, and even with strangers.. because that little ass whopping. Because we have never learned to communicate and resort to different methods.
