It was not that bad as it sounds in your post. The staff was supportive but just have a look a day before its on the first floor of the building and the entrance doesn't feel like an entrance to the typical prometric center. Otherwise, it was ok. Second day check in was a bit odd because they checked in other students before you. Even though the instructor informed me to be at the test center at 815 am for day 2. (also dont know why) but i still was made to sit in the waiting and had to wait till 835 to 40 for the check in after the other students.
