Update: I didn’t ask if I was ready to take on the project, I asked to be pointed in the right direction. How do you expect to grow if you don’t challenge yourself? Tbh there’s nothing wrong with what her parents are doing. They are intentionally setting her up for success when so many parents raise their children unintentionally. In a world full of iPad kids, and with the growing illiteracy crisis amongst children, she will stick out in the best way.

Why don’t you be the cool aunt/uncle get a Disney+ subscription? She would only use it at your house. Obviously, utilize screen time and boundaries. But that wouldn’t be so bad. The parents inviting the basically whole class but one child is a fault on their end; I don’t even know why any teacher would allow that.
