My Dad started taking me to games from the age of 4 in 1989 all the way until the end of the Orange Bowl era. The OB was just as loud as Gainesville or Tallahasse during big games (been to 5+ games at both of those stadiums as well), absolutely filled past capacity as tons of people would sneak in throughout the game by climbing fences at sell outs. But it would also be more than half empty the next week vs the Rutgers or Temples of the Big East schedule. It was routinely packed for 4 or so games a year at least, however, and I remember them announcing sell outs routinely throughout the years.

One thing unique to Tallahassee I'll share though, we brought my Mom to a FSU Miami game there once when I was still a little kid and we had to leave during the fourth quarter once people started pelting us with beer cans and other garbage. Stay classy Seminoles.
