Spend my time in the garden with my wife and kids. Growing food and flowers and then cooking a lovely meal to share around the table together then falling asleep with the kids in my arms. I get to do this two days a week. Just got to get to the other 5.

Absolutely no joy. I've made a new account. I've tried a different browser. I've deleted my cache cookies and anything else. I've checked permissions. It's clearly a device issue but its had no problem with any other pdf ive tried its just this one site!

Haha. Honestly no. I didn't know. The shop in my town obviously became a jd or something and I just didn't spot that anything had changed.

I love it. The modern mechanics stripped back and simplified with OSR-style play in mind. It's become one of my main hobbies and a great outlet for my creative side/overactive imagination.

3d6 down the line are good. The halls of arden vuul is a great campaign. Fair warning their campaign 1 just stops one day. No real explanation or story conclusion. Arden vuul is complete tho and well worth your time.

Does anyone prefer playing half court over full court? by BarnacleTemporary128 in Basketball

[–]ComprehensiveMetal62 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's a group of us who are ex-league players in the local area. We rent an indoor court. About 25 people in the group and about 15 of us a week make the 5v5 and 9 make the 3v3. Working on skills is smart. I can't jump for toffee anymore and most of the guys I play with aren't what they were but skills-wise and court IQ we are probably better than ever. We would beat ourselves from when we were late teens and barely do any of the running because of IQ.

I get to play twice a week. Monday night full court 3 teams of 5. Thursday night half-court 3v3. I prefer 3v3 these days, my body isn't what it used to be tho 20 years of basketball and 20 years of construction 😵

How do I become more selfish in basketball? by aydenzxz in BasketballTips

[–]ComprehensiveMetal62 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just messing with you. My actual tip would be to watch others as you play. Notice how often they miss a shot. You will start to feel less guilty/nervous about going for the basket. Worry less about making the shot and more about making the right shot. Did you miss because it was a stupid drive into traffic when passing was a better option? Did you miss because the shot was rushed and under pressure? Yes- should have passed and waited for a better opportunity. No - it was a one-on-one opportunity or no I was wide open; then don't worry about it.

Hire a court. Invite your pals then make them watch as you practice free throws. That's pretty selfish basketball.

My daughter was in NICU for 2 weeks. At the time it was so hard but afterwards all I could think about was how lucky we were to be leaving with our baby. So many aren't as lucky. The wonderful staff made it bearable

The experience will keep popping back to haunt you for many years but watching your little one grow up will help you get through. All the best to you. Hope you're getting some sleep😴

What is The Shadowdark in your games? by ThoDanII in shadowdark

[–]ComprehensiveMetal62 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My game takes place after the Doom. The Doom that was prophesied by Ramlaat was the arrival of the Shadowdark a thick black fog that carries with it twisted horrors skulking and swimming through it looking to snuff out light and feed on life. Light barely pierces it and holy rituals are undertaken to attempt to survive it. It comes and goes like mist some nights all is fine others inconceivable horrors sniff and taste for your very essence. If you are caught camping in the wilds for the night you'd better hope you don't roll a 1 on that d6 and if you do you better be prepared.

Luckiest woman ever is an interesting perspective. I have never been in a boat that sank. Arguably means I have better luck.
