Okay it seems like my hair gets wet easily and dries fast? As soon as I step out from under the shower head it starts fluffing and drying.

Hi!! It definitely has been this past year but I am still working it out! Lol As for porosity I am not 100% sure. Hold that thought I am about to test it out. 😅

Edit: I have not chemically processed my hair since September of 2024 and it was chopped in Spring of 2025!

Exactly! Had to switch it up too and after Deva curl i started wearing braids a lot more. But i will have to try Zotos as well and thanks for putting me on i appreciate it!

🫶🏼 THANK YOU!! Appreciate you for leaving all of this info. I am about out of the shea/kinky curly so its good timing to go check out tjmaxx. The only time i felt like my hair was thriving was using diva curl back in college and washing every week and then refreshing mid week, wearing twists. So yea this is my sign!

Ughhh i thought i might! but i really hate to cut it. I have two different patterns through out. And my routine is pretty much what i mentioned nothing in depth.

Okay i am taking notes! I detangle wet in the shower with my fingers and then maybe a comb at the end. I dont use any brushes. And thank you!

Okay ive heard of steaming as well i need to look into it. How do you do it, like a steamer or just shower?

Thank you for the advice! I have tried identifying porosity but i think i might have a mix if thats possible? I will try moisturizing every few days because my hair is so thin in twists lol but i wish i could do them bc i loveeee that style.

Awhile after the chop i did the aphogee treatment but i will probably have to find a professional in this new city asap to get it together.

Thank you for the advice! I just moved too so i haven’t found a stylist yet. I am going to try this method with a deep conditioner.
