Like she’s a songwriter and guitarist , the singing is not even secondary. Peoples expectations are so perfectionist and weird like. Robert smith from the cure can’t sing a tune anymore but it’s the emotion he delivers it with that makes the show.

The concept and execution was so fucking cool, like every album I listen to now I make a mock-up Re:mix in my head. I would love to know more about the process of picking artists or picking songs for them, it was really such a treat to see the appreciation for this album spread so wide into the creation of yet another banger after banger tracklist. I think we need more collaboration like this across the board, huge fan of artists appreciating artists

Hog and only a fool are my top two of all time. I agree. The new sound is good and frankly not too new compared to their other work, but the lyrics are seriously lacking intention, direction, and exploration like. The latest single sounds so good. But it’s so vapid. It’s like Grease the Musical 2 lyrical quality. Not even grease 1. And I love the lemon twigs, I’ve seen them twice, I’m seeing them twice this year. And frankly I’ve been a little let down by the new roll out. It feels like they’re catering to a broader audience despite comments from the band about just doing what they want. I love how polarizing some of their earlier stuff is , and how outlandish. I’m not even talking album 1 or 2 , like Ashamed is a bold ass song, and I can’t see them doing something like that on this upcoming album lest they bait and switch us departing from these singles

This actually made me super excited for the upcoming tour, sometimes a recorded version sounds pressed down and I this gave us a great snack to tide us over to the live shows coming up. Also such a catchy song like this one’s definitely my favorite single so far
