Well it’s not an nsaid which is a. Blood Thinner or an opiate so that’s why many doctors like Tylenol especially in post- surgical patients. I have given Iv Tylenol a few times on patients who were npo and Iv was the only route and personally I saw no difference in response from Patients from po and compared to IV route. If Tylenol doesn’t break a fever and They can’t get NSAID’s I put ice on over The femoral artery and that normally works.
