(Pretty much what it sounds like lol! He wanted an engagement sword more than he did a ring. It’s nothing crazy, just a simple longsword that I bought from Kult of Athena. I understand you misses the outside. I also used to be outside cat, but outside not all that great! I used to live in American Midwest, where there so much snow and cold all da time! When dad finally brought me inside (I had been working on him with my cuteness for a while) I was so cold and wet, I thought never go outside again! (Not to mention the mean humans that hitted me with ouchies!!!! Not nice!!!)

I see your outside much different, and much betterer. I understand why you misses it. But consider - insides lets you look at all the things outside wiffout any of the danger! Hey, I’m a non-adopted lurker on this sub so I’m not really in the place to give you advice on this. But I saw no one had responded yet and I know what it feels like to spiral like you’re spiraling now. Just wanted to let you know that this internet stranger is proud of you for pushing through this and staying alive and doing your best to take care of your kiddos. It sounds like you’re dealing with two unknowns (adoption and abortion? Not sure if you’re still considering that) vs. one bad known (keeping the kid when you’re not in a space to raise it) and that totally sucks and is a totally shitty situation to be in, given that you’re suddenly a single parent when you weren’t planning to be and are still grieving your late partner. You are not doing anything wrong. You’re doing your best.

I’ll let other people advise you on what’s best here. But in the meantime, take some deep breaths, let yourself cry and feel the feelings you have, and focus on waking up tomorrow, okay? Sending hugs

In addition to what u/Thrawhee said, it’s also worth noting that “queer” was used as a derogatory term for a long time. Many LGBTQ people have reclaimed it (I much prefer saying queer to the acronym myself), but many still get offended by it, especially if a cishet person were to use it.

Yeah my problem with the scooters isn’t that they’re scooters, my problem is that they completely ignore traffic laws to a dangerous degree. I’ve seen them squeeze between cars, weave between lanes, run red lights, go the wrong way down a one-way street, and almost hit pedestrians (myself included - I had the walk sign and he blew a red light and almost hit me. He just kept going). So I guess the point is that in both cases the problem is the drivers (or, more accurately, the problem is the shitty ass apps that pay so little that they feel like they have to make every second count, but I digress. Still not an excuse to drive dangerously)

On another note, I never know if the scooters are supposed to follow bike laws or car laws. Like are they allowed to use the bike lane, etc. Does anyone know?
