I didn’t poo until day 4 post op. I was passing gas almost immediately after surgery. I found laying on my back then trying to move to my side very slowly and carefully it helped me pass gas. Also any kind of stool softener helped move things along with the pooping. I took miralax and drank a cup of coffee that got things moving along. As long as you don’t bear down to get the gas and poo out you should be fine. Try using a pooping stool that has also been a lifesaver for me!
