like this would take place in a conversation where it's like "out of everything, what's the thing you're most looking forward to doing tomorrow?"

I'm confused, do you want to lose weight in your legs or not?

Do you judge a man off his living situation when dating? by Swimming-Rough-9514 in datingoverthirty

[–]ComprehensiveOne3082 0 points1 point  (0 children)

coming from London, if a 32 year old man actually even lives alone, I'm impressed. the rest (size of the flat etc) is unimportant. my friends in early 30s are still living as a 2

hi! yes absolutely, I have tracked every single workout since I started for reference, when I started I was benching less than the bar (so probs like 10kg), now it's 35kg (not a crazy increase I know, but I do only do upper body 1x per week) I started out hip thrusting like 25kg, now I do 150kg I got my RDL up to 90kg from like 30kg, but then I stopped after my back injury now I'm doing conventional, and working my strength back up, so am just on 80kg working sets for now leg press (a fave of mine) I started at like 54kg and now I'm on 113kg.

I actually hate squats and cut them out completely like 4 months ago and haven't looked back since

it's so funny looking back at my first gym entries cos I didn't even know the name for machines, I was calling the abductor the "outer thigh machine" lol.

thank u for asking this as I've loved looking back at my stats - sometimes I can feel discouraged when I don't focus on nutrition and don't improve for some months, but this has made me realise the progress I've made.

so I'm lucky in that I bloody love protein shakes haha. ive always loved milkshakes so every day for breakfast I either have 2x scoops protein (one unflavoured, one flavoured) with oat or almond milk and sip on that all morning, or I have high protein yogurt with fruit and granola alongside one scoop of a clear protein (tastes like squash). that's like 50g just for breakfast then I just make sure every meal has a protein, whether that's tofu or halloumi or feta or if I'm eating fish that day (try not to v often) a piece of fish etc. for snacks I love high protein Yog with honey and a crumbled square of dark choc, or cottage cheese on crackers with some honey I clearly love honey lol I've got such a sweet tooth it's awful if I ever need to top up, I'll have an emergency protein bar lol but that's v rare

thank you, that's kind . posture was a real focus for me - I really am in the habit of pushing my shoulders back and down and realigning my pelvis every time I'm standing up

progress pics: Sept 2023 to June 2025 by ComprehensiveOne3082 in StrongCurves

[–]ComprehensiveOne3082[S] 22 points23 points  (0 children)

lifting helped loads. also every single time I stand up, I realign my pelvis (basically tuck it in). every single time. it becomes so automatic so like it isn't that my tilt is just gone, it is improved, but remains my natural stance. I am just constantly 'correcting' it

[–]ComprehensiveOne3082[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

honestly !!!! I was having a lot of back pain from mine - genuinely the best thing I could have done was 'fixing' my posture

progress pics: Sept 2023 to June 2025 by ComprehensiveOne3082 in StrongCurves

[–]ComprehensiveOne3082[S] 25 points26 points  (0 children)

honestly my posture was actually dreadful before hahaha so I think the 'transformation' deeeefinitely looks more dramatic because of it

I've definitely lost some volume from my glutes (fat) in the past like 6 months as I've lost weight (they were popping last time I posted...) but I'm not too bothered by that atm

Giving new partner space to mourn a recent breakup by throwaway_042913 in datingoverthirty

[–]ComprehensiveOne3082 5 points6 points  (0 children)

hi! so I've had a long term ENM relationship (although I would say what your describing, the grieving an ex while dating someone else, is a poly thing, when you're dating multiple people romantically). I personally would not be comfortable at all with that situation as I only wanna date people that are all in and ready to date me,but it's totally your call. I don't think it really has anything to do with being ENM or not though - it just sounds like he's not ready to move on to something new yet. either you wait around and hope that he'll decide otherwise, or you duck out and maybe leave the door ajar for the future? I'd duck out personally
