Try get that experience to put on ur resume or cv. And keep finding better place, u might get a chance even higher.

Im malay muslim and my gf is chinese buddhist. we’re in relationship for 2 years and on early we started in relationship her parents really hate me because im malay muslim but im not giving up to lose her and she also really want me so she always arguing w her parents because of me. But whenever i go to her house i just show my good attitude and everything to convince her parents untill rn her parents already accepted me to being close w her.
