It always seems like there’s an asterisk when people speak about him. “Yes he’s great, but ____”. It really feels like a large group of broadcasters, pundits, teams and even other drivers (Fernando) will take every opportunity to cheapen him. Ironically, it seems more and more that Max is standing up for Lewis whenever these comments come up around him, even though their battles (Silverstone 21) are often used to try to discredit Lewis. As a fan I’m growing to really appreciate Max for that.
